This is a replacement vacuum switching valve (VSV) for 1UZ-FE VVTi, 2UZ-FE, and 3UZ-FE engines.

It replaces OEM part number 25860-50121, which is a common failure point that can lead to reduced low-end torque and poor fuel efficiency. Because the ECU often fails to trigger a code when this valve malfunctions, many owners do not realize their engine is lacking power until higher RPMs.

We have developed a more sustainable and accessible solution by relocating the VSV from under the intake manifold to the passenger side of the engine. Our hybrid metal VSV is durable, easy to service, and features metal barbed fittings for increased reliability.

The kit includes:

- A hybrid metal vacuum switching valve

- Two labeled vacuum lines for easy installation

- An OEM connector for a plug-and-play setup

Installation Notes:

- Installation requires removing the intake manifold and replacing two vacuum lines from the accumulator and actuator.

- Customers will need to verify the polarity of the connector during install. The connector is correct when the vacuum actuator holds the ACIS butterflies shut (horizontal position) at idle.

- When functioning correctly, the ACIS lever—located at the rear of the engine—should move from its vertical "open" position at rest to a horizontal "closed" position at idle, before reopening around 3,800–4,500 RPM.

This solution provides a reliable, cost-effective alternative to the OEM unit, ensuring your engine maintains its optimal "long runner" torque for better off-the-line acceleration and city drivability.
